   YEH Ming-Hsuan























YEH Ming-hsuan is from Taichung and graduated from Crafts & Design Department of the
National Taiwan University of Arts. He got a Master’s degree from Brunel University London,
majoring in Design & Branding Strategy. He holds a rank of Shodan in Kendo. Yeh started
his career in comics after winning the fi rst prize in the teenager’s group of the 8th Tong Li
Comics New Artist Awards in 1988.
His work Buddha Land, a book based on a Chinese classic novel Monkey (aka: Journey to the
West, Siyouji), was serialized in Tong Li’s Dragon Youth Monthly between January 2908 and
September 2012. The series has 9 books and was awarded the “Best Teen Comics” of the 3rd
Golden Comics Award after its publication.
His latest work The Lord of Master: Li Bai is being serialized in KADOKAMA’s online
comics platform ComicWalker. Offprints of Book 1-2 have been published.



The Lord of Master - Li Bai

The Fourth Year of the Kaiyuan Era, Tang Dynasty, was a glorious time. In the world where
wizardry and sorcery was highly valued, a young man with dazzling talent was going to show
his mettle!
Li Bai had learned from Jiaolian Master as her disciple since he was a kid. By the time he was
15, he was an independent immortal mage. In order to act out his father's wish, Li Bai was
determined to attend the Hanlin Academy and become an immortal mage. However, in a time
when there were so many immortal mages, despite his extraordinary talent, can Li Bai really
become a national immortal mage?
Featuring Li Bai as the main character, the book is based on the story of the young boy’s
pursuit of immortal wizardry. The sophisticated style and skillful presentation make it a
